HEMP & SUSTAINABILITY
We are continuously working on getting our hemp from field to fork in the most sustainable and eco-friendly way.
Being sustainable means to question yourself again and again concerning ecological, economical and social aspects, and to try and find solutions to work in accordance with those three areas as much as possible.
HEMP AS A SUSTAINABLE SOURCE OF PROTEIN
With our hemp products we offer a sustainable environmental friendly source of protein. Hemp is a plant that needs little water or fertilization. Because of its high resistance it also doesn't need pesticides and thus protects insects. Its long root system helps to improve the soil. All these benefits make hemp a great plant that provides a lot of nutritional value while being easy on resources.
HEMP CULTIVATED IN EUROPE
We source our hemp directly from our partnering farmers in Europe (Romania, Germany, France, Lithuania, Croatia, Belgium, Estonia). We know exactly on which field our hemp has grown and want to give this transparency directly to our clients. Through a trackingcode on our products you can learn where your hemp product comes from. By growing and producing in Europe and by improving our logistics, we aim at reducing our CO2-footprint.
SUSTAINABILITY IS A PROCESS
Also when it comes to packaging we are looking for the best ways of securing high product quality and at the same time using eco-friendly packaging. For our Berlin clients we offer the possibilty to come to our store and fill our products in their own containers.
We see our degree of sustainability as a process, which we are continuously improving. We are always open for ideas on how to be more sustainable and are happy to receive your feedback.
