HEMP AS A SOURCE OF PROTEIN
Hemp is a delicious and easy to digest source of protein. As hemp contains all essential amino acids, our body can easily make use of it and produce all necessary protein. Another distinctive feature of hemp is its amino acid profile, which is quite similar to the human one. Thus, hemp protein does not need to be combined with any other plant protein.
Protein makes you strong! But it is not only important for athletes and people that work out. Protein is a basic element of our body and is therefore needed for many of its functions. A sufficient intake of all amino acids can thus help to regenerate the body, control body weight, and even reduce stress. The high level of fibre contained in hemp makes it very digestable.
HEMP AND OMEGA 3
The content of polyunsaturated fatty acids is also special in hemp. Hemp has an optimal fatty acid pattern (ratio of omega-3 to omega-6), which is ideal for humans. In addition, hemp contains the rare gamma-linolenic acid which, for example, can help with skin problems or premenstrual symptoms.
VITAMINS, MINERALS &TRACE ELEMENTS
Hemp also contains a variety of vitamins, minerals and trace elements: zinc, magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin D, iron and B vitamins.
